RE:Gold will benefit from gov't stimulus, but copper could run Gold is a currency and reflects macroeconomic trends and events.

Copper is an industrial metal subject to supply and demand.

Silver is both, and should benefit from both upward trends.

Industrial and technological uses for physical silver account for well over half of annual global silver demand, spurred by the metal's strength, malleability and ductility. In 2019, global physical silver demand increased to 991.8 million ounces from 988.3 million ounces in 2018.

Silver is a core element for the manufacture of solar panels, as it has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of all metals. As such it is heavily used in solar panels, with around 20g per panel which equates to around 6.1% of the total cost of the price of building each unit.

Electric cars and trucks require silver. This category includes electric vehicles (EVs), battery electric vehicles, (BEV), and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs). These vehicles use more silver than the internal combustion engine (ICE). The electric engine, battery pack, and battery management system all require silver.Dec 19, 2019
