Recently, i've had the unfortunate pleasure of having a post of mine flagged and subsequently removed from the NCU board. This isn't the first time, as over the many years, especially after 20 colorful ones, you will run into many folks you disagree with & not with the same philosophies or line of thought as you in life. These unfortunately confrontations cannot be avoided on ANY public forum, regardless where it is or who it is. Whether it's a moderate place like SH or a highly contraversial site like Twitter. And from my experieces, the range of the folks you will butt heads with, will also vary to a great degree. From simple disagreements with everyday people like yourself which are easily resolved by better communication to being harassed or trolled by folks with severe problems, whether it be social, political, extreme idealogues or some other highly conflicting reason. In short, if you speak your mind or call people out on these social forums, you will become visible & targeted in some fashion by folks who don't like what you say, there's no way around it.
And this brings me back to my censored post on SH on the NCU board. It seems that the "offending" post didn't agree with someone or a few folks on this board and was ultimately flagged by him/her/them. Now it's difficult to determine if this was the result of one person or several because from my experience on SH dealing with this sort of stuff, they don't quickly remove posts on here by only ONE person reporting it. The problem here is this, though SH is a good site to discuss invesments and does have many great aspects & tools, it does also have some short comings. One of these failures is the ability for people, especially spammers & trolls to create MANY multiple accounts. And this abiliity isn't limited to just them, almost anyone can create additional accounts for whatever motivation they have. So you see, that's why it is very difficult to say with any certainty if this was the work of a few bad apples, maybe 2 or 3 OR just one single person with multiple accounts. Which ever it is though, this isn't even the BIGGER issue, this problem goes into a much deeper rabbit hole.
Just so interested folks on here are aware of the situation, the "offending" post was calling out someone on here, posting BS about the company. The post was clear on that BS was & i also stated why that was BS & clarified it. A few days later, that post was gone. Funny thing though, the poster who made the BS commentary, still has the orginal post with all his BS active on the forum. I guess whichever SH mod is moderating this board, either isn't interested in what is factually correct, just what is flagged. And this brings to the BIG problem on this board. I've brought my greivances to SH's customer support and for them to review the case. As i didn't think i did anything wrong except calling out someone who posted straightout lies which were factually incorrect. In other words calling out their BS so they're ultimately accountable for what they say.
Unfortunately for me & us, these requests by me to SH support have been gone unanswered & ignored for almost two weeks now. Now this is both VERY strange & abnormal AND would explain a great things & certain assumptions i had from the very beginning on this forum. The fact my emails to SH have been ignored, maybe even NEVER reached the apropriate SH support, and the fact that i've noticed some clear abnormalities on this forum by a specific few, lead me to believe that somone on here is ALSO a mod OR has some connection/realtion to a mod from SH. It would explain A LOT of what's been happening on this forum. Now if my assumptions are correct, and believe they are pretty accurate, i can no longer post on here without having this being a real BIG issue in the future Or ANYONE like me.
The BIG problem here is this, that if someone has some vested interest in this company or forum for some particular motivation or reason AND also who's a current or former SH mod or has connections to one currently, creates a real bad environment for anoyne who comes into conflict with this person/these people. If any future commentary i make, if my "offending" posts could be removed on a simple whim as easily as you order something on Amazon or Ebay at just the push of a button, then i have no desire to give this person/these people the satisfaction of them doing so. It would be not only completely futile but a complete waste of my time also, time i could be spending & contributing elsewhere. Don't know about anyone else here, but i do consider my time to be very precious to me and will not waste it on a losing endeavor.
So having said this my dear friends, this is how this situation will play itself out. IF the majority of the people active on this board agree with what i've stated above AND really want me to continue to contribute my opinions & analysis on the company THEN you guys will have to be proactive yourselves and do some of the legwork to make this a better, more just board to weed out those who have both ulterior motives & offer nothing of substance. In order for me to even consider to continue with posting my views & commentary on here, i will need two things to happen. First, i must gauge what my supprt is here. If folks here value my contribution & want me to continue posting, then please upvote this post. I would have preferred SH had the option to also downvote posts on here, another great failure of their voting system btw, to give both sides a voice and see the extent of those that don't agree. But it's what it is. In order for me to even CONSIDER posting here, nothing short of 5 upvotes are required. If i get 10, i will consider this a win and a vote of cofindence to continue with my manadate. To offer investment commentray & opinion to those that seek it. Anything short of 5, will be a clear signal and will galdly leave for greener pastures.
The second request, please have your voices heard and request that my "offending" post that was removed be reinstated. Maybe if enough people come knocking at their door steps, SH will either listen or they might acutally get through to the someone who can review the case file. You can submit a request to do this at the link provided below. I've done all i can here, now it's up to you my friends, personally i rather stay onboard & continue offering my opinions, but will only do so if the environment is suitable to do so & certain criteria are met. Well MoMo, you spent an awful lot of time showing everyone here how a child with his or her feelings hurt reacts to adversity. Good grief. Please, follow up on your threat and can the posting.
