RE:Bankruptcy?

RE:Bankruptcy?Canadian creditor protection is not bankruptcy. bankruptcy 9/10 means shares are worth zero because bankruptcy usually happens when debts>assets.

CP gives space to a company to come up with a plan to pay creditors without having creditors bully management.  This could be a new business plan if they can find someone willing to invest. or it can mean an orderly sale.

in this case, because site is worth 1.5B @ $3.5 copper, with 3-400M in debt, a sale is all that would be needed if they cannot come up with a suitable plan. Those numbers are from jan 2019 and come from the company, so it is possible they are wrong. But if correct, anything above the 3-400M would go to the shareholders.

btw, company est, shareholder equity @ 505M USD on mar 31 2022 in their SEDAR filings.

idk, what the market is for slightly used mines right now, but the shares are worth more than zero.

also, note it is not under creditor protection, they are just saying it could be if creditors start threatening lawsuits. Will be super interesting to see where this goes.
