What is this board’s “topic” and who decides?

What is this board’s “topic” and who decides? Is it only those news reports that mention Nevada Copper by name, reducing this board to the lowest common denominator while ignoring the myriad of other relevant financial and economic developments that have a primary influence on copper prices?   We’re talkin’ about DR. COPPER here folks!  Remember?   A bell-weather indicator of business activity, the price of copper fluctuates with business sentiment.  How difficult is it to understand that broader economic developments will determine business. activity = copper speculation = higher copper prices = higher NCU?  Difficult perhaps for some outside the industry, but it should be obvious to seasoned mining investors.

And that’s the second part.  I don’t think my particular POV should rule, but it is worth something.  We each bring a set of criteria that represents the clearest examination of the market.  We are not a monolithic body with a perfect consensus on how stock should be traded, recognizing each and every trade really no more than a difference in opinion.   I consider myself a “mining investor” and as such I find useful and informative posts of other mining opportunities, while also discouraging spam or irresponsible pumping, which incidentally is about all that is being posted now.

I want to know how extreme weather, resulting in famine or armed conflict, WILL disrupt global copper production in years going forward and how best to protect my capital from stranded mines in Africa, Canada, and Peru.  Over the last ten years, I have had the ability to choose to read those posts written by responsible parties, ignoring the idiots and irresponsible pumpers and feeling my participation was worthwhile.  But that is now in question if we can’t decide for ourselves what content is helpful and which isn’t.  We don‘t need no “big brother” deciding what’s best for us to know.
