Likely no one remembers...i asked a question several months back if there ever was a really good project similar to NDM that never got approved...some objective and polite person posted a report of a mineral resource discovered in BC and today it sits as a provincial park with that mineral resource still there under the ground. I read the report and it was looking very good at getting approved and then it just didn't happen as the governement had a change of heart and part of that was because of Alaska worried about how it would affect their downstream water etc.
With the timing of how and when this could get approved, Trump will be out of power and the Democrats back in...will they be thinking along the same lines as Obama did? That alone could tank NDM. Also, here's another thought...in my opinion nothing is a done deal until the actual mine is built. That being said, have there ever been such projects approved and subsequently cancelled by government due to a change in that government etc.? Just curious if anyone has ever heard or seen such.
