Neither of the candidates are my ideal president, but given the choice we have, Trump is the far superior choice.

Trump is unfortunately a very flawed individual, with many character imperfections that the left rightly highlights all the time. But their zeal to defeat him because of their great political differences has been boundless, and led to a horrible abuse of the President in many ways that are far worse than the imagined and manufactured evils of which they accuse Trump. Notwithstanding all his many flaws his accomplishments have been truly historical and many, to the surprise and horror of those on the left.

He is a rarity among Presidents, one who has kept his promises. He built (Building) the wall, reduced taxes, and greatly reduced needless and redundant regulations, he moved to replace Obama care, he promised to select Justices from his list of conservative jurists with 3 justices (including Barrett) and over 300 conservative federal judges, he moved the US embassy to Jerusalem and recognized the annexation of the Golan. He promised to undo the Iran treaty, and several other treaties that were terrible for the US such as the Paris environmental accords, NAFTA, the TPP, the intermediate nuclear treaty, among others and threatened to withdraw from NATO, WTO, WHO, and did pull out of UNESCO and UN Human Rights Commission for their bias against Israel and the US.

His further achievements in just 3 years have also been very significant. He rebuilt the economy before the the pandemic hit. He brought back manufacturing to the US. He made the US self sufficient in energy and the 1st in oil and gas production. He rebuilt the military to a modern well equipped arm of the US that can serve anywhere in the world and is second to none. He raised the economic standards for the US and in particular for all the minorities such as blacks, Hispanics, indigenous etc. He provided funds for black colleges. He support law and order and police departments throughout the country. He enforces the borders and has greatly reduced illegal entry at the southern border. This has greatly reduced drug trafficking, human trafficking and has fought sanctuary cities and state. He has rebuilt the VA, produced executive orders that will greatly reduce the price of drugs, and changed the way the EPA and the FDA etc operate in pursuing their mandated statutory goals. He supports free choice in the schooling of our children, but not free choice in the murder of our unborn children.

In foreign policy Trump has had many wins in addition to the treaties mentioned above. He has nearly brought Iran to its knees economically after pulling out of the treaty, rather than providing Billions to Iran to spread more terrorism. He has reshaped how the world reacts to the US. He caused them to pay up in NATO, the UN, and reworked many treaties and global organizations that walked all over the US. He did the "impossible" in the Middle East, with his peace deals between Israel, UAE and Bahrain with more likely to follow and two Nobel Peace Prize Nominations. He has done favorable economic trade renegotiation with China and others.

Trump somehow managed to do this while battling baseless attacks from the left. From the start they tried to spy on him as a candidate, entrap his appointees as President Elect, Media that reported every false story from anonymous sources as though it was verified fact, Mueller investigation of years and $40M that came up empty, the phony Russian story that made the President out as a Russian asset (it would be laughable if it was not so sad), it was the Democrats who PAID for the Russian Steele report and falsified the FISA applications and brought a baseless totally political partisan impeachment that they said they had the evidence in hand for, but did not, even though they knew it would not succeed in the Senate. He had to endure the media that was totally biased including the NYT, WP, CNN, and MSNBC. They would interrogate and debate and "fact check" anyone who supported the President on the rare occasion they had someone from the right. They were basically a 24/7 paid commercial for the left and impeachment and then Biden and anything that would show the President in a poor light - no matter that the source was often anonymous or totally manufactured as they were later discovered to be untrue. They had total disrespect for the office of the President and freely expressed their happy smiles and glee when a story broke against the president. They should be forced to provide equal time to the Republicans as they were nothing but free commercials for the left.

As for the President's flaws, they are exaggerated in the worst way. His mistakes or exaggerations are always described as lies. White house press core ask the most embarrassing questions they can concoct that often accuse the President of the worst and do not just take an answer. When they invariably do not like the answer they interrupt his answer and debate him. This is not reporting news, it is rudely advocating a position. Sure he sometimes shoots from the hip, has mistakes in some of his of the cuff statements, and does exaggerate his numbers, wealth, reputation, his following and accomplishments (though he has many). He is a bit of a narcissist, megalomaniac and ego, but that goes with great ambition, necessary to be president. He is certainly not humble. But I will take all his many character flaws rather than give up his many accomplishments as President. I do wish he would be more careful in his pronouncements and tweets and make sure he had accurate numbers at hand.

Finally, Biden and the Democrats are being very disingenuous by laying the 200,000 plus Covid virus deaths at Trumps feet. He has done as well as most other countries, better than some and worse than others. It is clear that had Biden and Pelosi been in control they would not have banned travel from China and Europe early on and the pandemic would have been far worse. He mobilized manufacturing of PPE, manufacture of ventilators, construction of hospitals and beds and delivery of hospital ships when asked. He shut down the economy, knowing this would hurt him politically. He made a huge investment in getting very rapid Covid vaccines to market. The Democrats on the other hand politicized Covid, and cast doubt on the vaccine so that many will not take it when it becomes available.

Unfortunately, Biden is in the pocket of the radical left. If they gain control, expect $4 TRILLION more in taxation! Loss of manufacturing. Loss of oil and gas leadership, devastating green climate rules, open border, rioting and looting in the urban centers. more sanctuary cities, loss of jobs and major recession, and a war on religion, and continued mob bullying to pledge allegiance to them while you are having supper at a restaurant.

The republic is on it's last legs. Trump is destroying democracy by undermining free elections and sowing division where ever he can. His greatest economy in history ran record deficits, couldn't even handle 2% interest rates  and totally relied on liquidity from the fed. Toss in wildfires and civil unrest as the icing on the cake.
