NGD earnings per share I did some rough back-of-the-napkin calculations for today's earnings. NGD, in their operational results and 2013 guidence, indicated that they produced 112, 883 ounces of gold at a net-byproduct cash cost of 254 per ounce. Cash costs, therefore, were a total of $28,672,282. Assuming a POG of $1,600 per ounce and that they actually sold all that they produced, they would have generated $180,612,800 is revenue, which, minus cash costs, results in 151,940,518 in earnings or .31 cents per share.
Realised costs per ounce will be higher and they might not have sold all the gold that they produced, but, fingers crossed, I think NGD should be able to meet or exceed the .13 cents per share consensus. Here's hoping. Just my thoughts.
Good luck everyone.
