Re Short Position....So What ???
Christo you said the short position was half of what it was in Oct 2013.Please have a GOOD LOOK at the below T : NGD 2013-10-31 47,854,075 159,951 503,181,987 9.51 T : NGD 2013-10-15 47,694,124 -439,817 502,451,103 9.49 If you can sort that all out you will see that the Short Position was 47,854,075 and as at the 15th May 2014 it is 37,112,216 and that dear boy is NOT exactly half and I haven't taken the short on NYSE into account. So get your facts right number one.Number two is that there are some dangerously high shorts relative to the average turnover in NGD case in particular but there are dozens of other stocks in a similar position. As good a company NGD is one cannot glibly discount the short position as if it were of NO consequence whatsoever. Get that straight....... I think you ought to study the chart that I took the time for interested parties to view and see just how critical the situation is deteriorating into. The mining stocks are heavily oversold and shorted into the eye of the bottom of the gold cycle, take advantage if you can.
