Detour Gold came to the support of it's shareholdersOn Monday they released their operational update which wasn't so rosey and the stock tanked to it's 52 week low. On Tuesday they added 3 additional updates and it rocketed up 13%.
From our boys makings the big bucks, silence. They just let it collapse to 3.11. My cousin who just retired from one of the largest gold mining companies in the world said that Oliphant is a bean counter and not a geologist. I don't understand how the board let him run wild with RR especially since he isn't a qualified geologist. Why wasn't he let go long before capex got so out of control? Most of these guys have huge egos and can't admit mistakes.
