What am I missing?

What am I missing? How did things go so bad in 3 short months?  What changed?  They were supposed to be hiring an engineering firm to improve the efficiencies but we still get the excuse about startup bugs. They were supposed to be fixed by now.  How did they miscalculate so badly on RR.  How did the AISC ballon so fast.  The grades have improved, the recoveries improved to 87%.  I think things were far worse in Q1 than they reported but they were hoping that they could pull this out of the fire by Q2.

The Oliphant in the room(I think we all need a laugh today) is how long can they sustain this bloodletting before they put the thing on care and maintenance.

i warned posters a couple of years ago about Rainy River and people jumped all over me.  I already had quite a few shares but I asked a relative who is a geologist with another big gold mining firm about it.  They were looking to acquire some properties and they had my relative analyze the data on this deposit He advised them to,stay away as the grades were not there.  Who would have thought it would get this bad.
