New Gold financials are as expected.
On track with their Guidance report, company has turned the corner and better days are ahead. I would expect that they are now ligitimate takeover candidates. Congratulations.

agreed, just took a peek through it, having both gold/copper at these numbers going into q2 here is going to look great on the books. They pretty much did what they said they would back in Feb, no surprises. Looking forward to a good 2-3 year hold here

Not likely. too short a mine life. Majors want 500k ounce production over 20 years. A takover is highly unlikely

New Gold more than just a gold company, New Afton is a great copper asset especially if copper goes beyond 5$ as most are predicting.

First-quarter figures are in line with expectations. If gold can hold above $2300 and copper stays around that price or higher, second-quarter figures should be excellent. Let's not forget the past few difficult years that NGD has experienced, and now the company's valuation is increasing with future production of 600,000 ounces all-in. We're on the right track.
