RE:RE:RE:Rogers 14 year NHL DealRogers is probably looking at the feasibility of a takeover. Buying Neulion would give them control of this media channel, plus a nice new subscription revenue stream.
In fact, I would be surprised if the accountants at Rogers weren't already looking at what might be an acceptable offer price. They paid over 5B for the NHL rights, so suffice it to say, a potential takeover bid would come in much higher than the $0.50 to $0.60 range within which NeuLion is trading right now.
I've shifted some of my portfolio to top up my position a bit more in NLN shares.
