RE:consolidation

RE:consolidationIf managment feels a stock consolidation is best for the company, then I'll be voting in favour.  Neulion has good fundamentals, so any negativity from a consolidation should be shortlived.

So tired of all the muppets who mope about all the companies whose stockprice continues to decline after a consolidation, yet conveniently forget to mention the times that consolidation benefits a company.

With regard to consolidation, here's a thought:  Perhaps a company's stock price continues to decline because that company's fundamentals weren't very solid to begin with!  All these people who mope about consolidation being a recipe for a declining stockprice, yet no one backs up this information by correlating such declines to a company's pre-existing fundamentals.

Conversely, it's well-known that certain institutional investors are restricted from buying shares in a company whose stock price is below a certain threshold - be it $1, $2 or $5.  If the company feels that a consolidation may bring about more institutional investment, or perhaps even a Nasdaq listing, then go for it!

If investors feel the fundamentals of a company are good... then I guarantee you that the stock price will continue to climb.  One wonders if those opposed to consolidation are simply just penny flippers who won't find it quite as easy to get the same leverage out of a 5 or 10 cent swing in the daily stock price.
