RE:CommentaryMaybe a focus on export of green hydrogen/fertilizer, etc when offering tax incentives.
From a monetary point of view, foreign currency coming into the country is welcome and can help pay for social needs. Not that easy however. Who's going to build the hydrogen projects and infrastructure costing billions.Other countries can build green hydrogen projects faster.
Then the windfarms have to be built. Need long-term contracts with foreign buyers.
It's the same with LNG. It will be news if Phase 2 of LNG Canada gets the green light. The project is owned by foreign companies. This may be key of whether Phase two is built.
Maybe a few new partners for Phase Two also? A very vague hint the BC Gov't may be involved.
