Goodwill and intangibles

Goodwill and intangiblesThere were some concerns about Intangibles and goodwill. Companies have these on their balance sheet. Can't get a true dollar value on these. At best they serve as realized value only when tax time comes. Then can also consider gains/losses on hedging etc, almost nothing to do with operating assets electricity income.

But everything is separated on the financial statements. Scary. Take out goodwill, intangibles and not report gains from hedging, etc, not much left.

Looking at Innergex forum-- Anyone looking at the balance sheet of this company can see why. Take out "intangables" and there is no equity here. It's a smoke and mirrors situation. Share price could be $2 and it would still be overpriced
