ESG ETF's are popular with young investors. Trillions invested. Biden is expected to veto a Senate vote to overturn a Dept of Labour idea that pension funds, etc invest in ESG funds

Sector rotation out of renewables due to increased perception of risk factors? Don't belong in ESG mutual fund/pension portfolios? Maybe that's why such stocks are down?

I don't know if this makes sense. Northland is profitable but has geo-political risk in Taiwan and was recently involved in policy changes regarding electricity. The perception of risk despite being proftitable may be scaring investors away who instead go into ESG funds. But ESG companies don't necessarily contribute to climate change. Maybe then it's ok for Northland to go into green ...more
