Getting back to the real world

I don't know where that rally came from yesterday, but today is a new day and welcome to the real world! Let me tell you what's happening in the real world -- bond yields are higher on both sides of the border. In Canada the 5 year bond is up 0.03 basis points, the 10 year is up 0.05 basis points, and the 30 year also up 0.05 basis points. If you're holding any utilitity stock where the dividend is more or less fixed (at least in the short term), you want bond yields to be dropping, not going up.
