Transition to renewables will continue, but in the meantime:

Exxon buying Pioneer Natural Resources for $58 billion.

Chevron buying Hess for $53 billion.

LNG Canada near completion. Maybe Phase 2 will be approved. Looking at electrifying some new projects.

Trans Mountain pipeline progressing.

Exploration on Equinor's $12 billion offshore light crude (300 million barrels est.) project off Newfoundland continues.

Qatar Energy and Exxon drilling for oil and gas off Newfoundland.

Oil & gas will be in the vocabulary for many decades. Transition is not easy as some have made it out to be.
