HOLD

Sold it a while ago, but likes it and its managers especially. Is sensitive to interest rates. He will look at this, the utilities and REITs as interest rates fall. Headwinds that arose in late 2022 have passed. He sold it on concerns of a gap in their development pipeline. He'll look at this again, starting with its debt. Tight management that he expects will do well. Hold on, if you already own.

Gap in their development pipeline? Northland has their Scotwind projects and further ambitions in Japan/Taiwan. Noticed they gave back the BC windfarm development rights for some reason.  And just when BC Hydro is calling for more greenfield electricity from wind. Electrification of LNG projects just beginning. I think because a lot of hydro power exists in Canada, nobody is in a rush to ...more

Pattern Energy is 100% owned by Canada Pension Investments.-- Expected to be the largest wind project in US history, powered by GE's next generation workhorse turbine 3.6-154
