RE:RE:A new idea for Corporate transparencyHello McKeegan,
Thank you for supporting my suggestion that Verde look into hosting a live stream webcam mounted on the water tower at the Sao Gotardo plant. Here is another example - overlooking the
Copacabana Beach located in Rio De Janeiro. EarthCam - Rio de Janeiro Cam With shareholders located around the world all interested in following the activities and developments of their Company, it would be an effortless way to provide a real time portal for investors to stay in touch on a regular and recurring basis.
Here is an offer for Verde to consider:
Given the low cost of quality all weather outdoor camera units these days, I would happily finance the acquisition of the first camera if Verde would agree to get it installed and hooked into the internet through their website. How is that for a win-win deal?
Here is another suggestion.
Use a small drone to take 5 minute videos over the Sao Gotardo plant while it is in operation, along with the mine sites and furture Plant 2 site and post these regularly on the website. This would allow investors to see a timeline of development as the strategic and tactical plans of the Company are implemented.
While you can hire a drone contractor to take these videos, but much cheaper to buy a reasonable quality drone and have one of the local employees learn how to fly and record video. Especially if the Company would commit to posting an updated video each month or quarter, and it becomes a regular part of their commitment to corporate transparency.
I for one wouild appreciate seeing video taken on the ground at the plant (I have always enjoyed watching the How it is Made series on TV, which you can now view through YouTube) and at the carious mining sites. Investors have a huge appetite for information and I give a lot of weight to the visual evidence companies post on their web feeds when I am doing my due diligence.
Cheers,
S.
