We all assume negative Nancy and the bashers are short I believe, lately at least, they are buyers shaking the trees for cheap shares. Trying to accumulate cheap stock makes way more sense than shorting. Shorting, in theory, has unlimited losses if you're wrong and the stock goes up. Missing out on a great investment by trying to pick the bottom is far from catastrophic. The idiots that pump pou at the same time make themselves the most obvious example.
