RE:RE:RE:RE:GhostzapperIf it is free speech you want. Here it goes. I rather like Trudeau. He has kept us from lame conservative leaders and policy. And it looks like there are more on deck. They want to extend an olive branch to the protestors. IMO hostage takers. They are holding ground and the lives of many others hostage. On the flip side how would the protest be viewed if it were indigenous elders holding the same ground to get potable drinking water at reserves? I am fairly certain that if many who are protesting COVID had the brain power and empathy to have become healthcare workers we would not be recruiting healthcare workers far and wide to fill current vaccancies. BTW I have tremendous respect for those working in healthcare as I know a great many who do. At this stage of the COVID cycle protesting restrictions looks a lot like a protest of winter in the dying stages of winter. Just because I'm sick of it doesn't mean that it is over. IMO there hasn't been an honorable or effective leader since Peter Lougheed left office. However I will admit to having a soft spot for Doug Ford because I believe he genuinely cares. The other day someone wanted irrefutable proof regarding the Liberal governments handling of the pandemic. Chances are they wouldn't know scientific evidence if it hit them square on the temple. Intellectual dishonesty? How about intellect? For some their intellect comes from message boards and the bible. Some have become in their own small minds experts without having passed a high school biology class or an undergrad course in science. Einstien was right. "Human genius has limits while human stupidity does not." In the stages of the 5th wave as cases are hopefully cresting the correct thing to do is to protest restrictions? On the flip side maybe the best thing to do is expose it as it is. The burden of the unvaccinated on the vaccinated. Stretching our healthcare to the limit while other medical procedures wait.
