re WTI over $60 - mind boggling.
my 2 cents:
Some of the names like NVA, WCP, CR, CJ have returned to or are above their pre-pandemic levels.
Some others like ERF, VET, SGY only made it 3/4 way back.
The bottom bounce easy money has been made, it's now a show me mode and it appears that some larger market movers are not as convinced of returning to higher levels as Nuttal is.
There are headwinds for oil and until the eviddence is more overwhelming, my guess is it won't be smooth sailing back to higher than pre pandemic levels.

NVA was hit $3.19 pre-pandemic. $2.05 is a far cry from $3.19.

Yes, NVA was at $3.19 pre-pandemic in Jan then in Feb the Saudi/Russian price war added fuel to the fire.

Oldnagger, you are the good voice of reason here. Absolutely, stick with the fundamentals and all will work itself out. Vitol article today is extremely bullish on Oil prices in coming months. https://oilprice.com/Energy/Crude-Oil/Worlds-Largest-Oil-Trader-Expects-Strong-Demand-Rebound-This-Year.html

Very good article, just one more thing for anyone who may be craintive. NVA is piling up free cash flow as we speak, debts are being paid down and production is growing quickly, There will be a re-affirmation of those facts shortly. A healthy fear should be of missing out by selling now !!

Sounds like the new infrastructure came online March 20th +/- doing about 1000e3m3/d of gas and 800m3/d of condensate. The CF has taken a jump in the right direction as they said it would. Q1 earnings and offical news release should send things up materialy.

Thanks, NVA's presentation shows 12 wells in the pipestone area and 4 in the Biobo are scheduled for completion in Q1 . Seems there is more good news to come !! The rest of the drilling is all scheduled for the second half of the year.

i just looked at the charts, have a look, you are correct about WCP, CR, CJ. But NVA is not even close. I see every O&G following the same pattern past 6 weeks. When sentiment turns positive again, they will all move up.
