Eric Nuttal on BNN aired April 30th @17:45 minutes in he talks about Paramount potentially talking a run at NVA and him being the largest shareholder. Saying they would pay a premium of cource to buy them.

The lack of access to capital to fuel drilling and replace produced oil and gas means that many energy firms are offside with their creditors and that will add pressure to make deals during semi-annual credit reviews, analysts say.

The 2023 notes , worth $220 million are redeemable by the note-holders at 101% of face value ,in the event of a change of control. This has always been a significant hurdle to POU (or others). The increasing share price is increasing the hurdle. Thank goodness, NVA is still valued way above cuurent Share prices .

Apparently Eric Nuttal is scheduled to be on BNN on May 28. Could that have been the catalyst for the SP rise last Friday?

It sure is time for him to make it a top pick! Nuvista is a better company and way more undervalued than many of his recent ones.

I've kept an eye on Nuttal since the very early days when he originally pounded the table on Painted Pony years back.  In the past, I've noticed small bumps and several pops immediately *after his TV recommendations, but to date, have not seen substantial moves until the day of his appearances on TV, let alone a week ahead of his appearances. Tha said, the oil story has lots of eyes

They're rules to top picks on bnn he's not allowed to buy for so many days becore/after. I think he could make it a top pick and be within the rules. his last top picks spiked immediatly after the words left his mouth.

You guys need to be careful with the notion of "Top Picks". It can also be used as a tool in his box to manipulate stocks. We're talking multi-million dollar fund that is paid big bucks when he realize profits. My guess is he knows the value of Nuvista and has wanted to get more shares on the cheap with cash for sales of stocks that have risen. Thus, not promoting Nuvista much. Even when asked about it last time on BNN, though he was positive, you could almost tell in his voice his reluctance to pump it. Proof in the pudding is that he had just bought another 1.5m for the fund the week earlier. https
