re Bear Market

DJIA down almost 1000 pts as I write this.  No doubt in my mind we are now in a bear market. 

The question for us OIL/GAS bulls is, will this downdraft, if it persists into the summer along with rising interest rates, will we see stagflation and the much hated "R" word also begin to negatively affect our dearly beloved Oil stocks !!!

Regardless ones view on the whipsaw macro situation that appears to be worsening, being nimble and having patience with available cash is a good thing.

All I know is that the Nasdaq is down ~ 30% ytd and my energy stocks are up ~ 45% ytd. Say the Nasdaq corrects 60%, which wouldn't be insignificant, we are already half way there. Maybe this bear market goes through the summer but I'd be happy if NVA stays flat during that time. So far we have still been going up. Once this bear market turns around I'm pretty sure it's blast off

I agree with Yerry, I don;t think we are in a bear market at all. What is happening is very healthy IMO Investors are moving out of overpriced tech stocks and the like into value plays and inflation hedges. Probably the transition  will be a bit sloppy but no real cause for worry !!
