NVEI and American short sellers

How many times do we have to put up with American short sellers coming into the Canada market with damaging stories that drive down the value of companies that turn out to be perfectly solid after the dust settles and the short sellers are done plundering. I saw this happen to EIF, which has now completely recovered. It even happened years ago to Fairfax (FFH). It's criminal and needs to end. The American masters of disinformation need to be stopped from pillaging and plundering our companies while they line their pockets. It disgusts me.

The problem is how do you stop these firms from doing it.   Especially when the company is traded on the US Exchange.    My fear is that the only thing that can be done is for the company to immediately address the report with facts against the short seller.    I agree that these Short Sellers do damage to everyday honest people who are playing by the rules.

 U need to look at the financial  3Q 9 months 64 cents / share .  Full year maybe a $1 /sh Nov 9  $150  sp.     PE 150 !!       Growth is slowing Financials do not support that $150 price Shorts are only going after what looks like are overvalued Stocks. Same as longs buy stocks that they think are undervalued.

Nuvei decided to list on the NASDAQ and does business in the USA. If they want to play in the US sandbox, you are likely going to attract more attention from both longs and shorts, on both sides of the border, though I don't believe U.S. hedge funds are barred from shorting stocks which are only listed on the TSX......? Even if we discount the above, these things happen when you invest in

It will be interesting to see where the stock goes over the next couple days....Spruce Point had a "long term" target of 40 to 60 percent lower, yet the stock hit that range within an hour after the market open this morning and hung in that range most of the day. This begs the question...Is Spruce Points work already done here?

We need the CEO of NVEI to step up and buy $5 million of stock tomorrow Just like the CEO of DOCU did after the drop. That would get the stock back where it belongs. LSPD ceo didn't do this and that's why that stock is still fu$ked!
