In spite losing over 40% of its value yesterday, looks like things are getting worse for Nuvei as their share prices keep plunging as opposed to having a rebound from bargain hunters.

Now we know why shortselling must be outlawed or heavily regulated in Canada.

Patience my son you are so correct in your comments. I would suggest everyone listen to the conference call but as usual the clowns are out. Short sellers are an absolute obstacle to an efficient trading environment. The earnings were not the almost 40% decline we have seen. Things to note on Nuvei's most recent financial statements: that may account for a portion of the big share price drop...? BALANCE SHEET: 1) Cash on Hand + Receivables has fallen dramatically from $813M to $219M since December 2022. 2) One item, "Goodwill", accounts for almost half (44%) of Total Assets. Cash drop of due to purchase and associated cost of acquisition. Acquisition already contributed $102m to revenues. Revenues would have been higher in fact due to the mutual departure of a client  and the longer period to onboard Nuvei's programs to new clients. Just wondering did you listen to the conference call for details?

1) Didn't listen to the CC myself, but I assume the analysts covering Nuvei as well as large shareholders did. The CC took place Wed, Aug. 9 before market open. Nuvei's share price dropped a total of over over 47% in total by Friday's close with trade volumes much higer than average on each of these three trading days and is now sitting at a historical all-time low since it's birth

Frankly the share price drop in no way is indicative of the actual results. Shorters are involved big time followed by retail traders who sadly enough without realizing it assisted the corporate shorters. I recommend you take the time to listen to the conference call to understand what exactly is going on now and in the future. You will come out of the call wondering why such a drop in price and
