RE:why would Sprott buying the Newmont shares be at all bullishI would say because he has had great successes. Look at Kirkland Lake Gold now, it has had huge gains since it acquired Newmarket Gold. You should have taken the KLG shares. Sprott also invests for the long term. I think the important number is not 9.9%, but 19.9%, above which a take-over bid has to be made. So the Novo shares are split up between Sprott's personal account and the 2176423 Ontario account so both are below 19.9%.
