Bob, I recommend when discussing geology you stick to regurgitating word for word what QH tells you. When you stick your neck out and try to form an uneducated opinion of your own, you just look like an idiot. From what you state above, it seems you have taken whatever casual knowledge you may have of mineral densities to conclude that the gold literally sunk to the base of the conglomerate? That might be the stupidest thing I have read yet.
