So for all posters who are busy trying to calculate grades for the various Novo projects, here’s something to get your teeth into.  No sorting machines may be used for this calculation BTW,and I offer this conundrum by way of entertainment only and futher more ,answers from pirates ,jinli or horsemen will be given priority consideration .
Q. In an aquarium there are a certain number of fish.Of these eight are spotted and thirteen are striped .Of the five golden fish in the aquarium all have only spots .Of the seven pink fish each one either has only stripes or spots .What is the minimum number of fishes ? The aquarium is not located anywhere near the pilbara.

No one has to calculate grades at any of the projects fw as in the Crux interview winkin spilled the beans.

You are  spoiling my fun Fetts . I have just bought five golden spotted fish with no stripes and am taking them back to my aquarium  in a bucket before I buy more . I decided to tackle the conundrum practically by purchasing a large sample of them  and then counting .Easier when you have them in your hand . I would always take a huge sample  to rebutt no viable resources .As for that interview ,I stay away from sharks as much as possible. The released article afterwardsfrom Crux was far more interesting to get real viewpoint of the perceptions of the interviewer from the point of inaccuracies IMO . Thats in the past now ,and I have no wish to revisit it . Article is   in the trash can as far as I am concerned . I have always preferred to look to the future .....early . This isnt Friday yet  is it ? :-)

It was the most informative interview in the past 3 years by far. People see what they want to see.

He was asked and answered the grades at all 3 locations. What the faithful didnt like is that he was also asked why it deserved a 500$ m market cap. A fair question.

Maybe we should ask the market that question Fetts.

Since Nov.2018 the average trading market cap for NVO has been roughly $480 M CAD
So how many ounces in the ground is the market pricing in to Novo?

If this skittish market is valuing Novo’s Pilbara gold in the ground at say $50 an ounce CAD after Sumitomo and others get their slice (for example, on average for the various deposit types)) it would mean the market believes NVO is sitting on around 10 million minable ounces.

So what is an ounce of Novo‘s gold in the ground worth at Beaton’s Creek, at Karatha, at Egina?
Any thoughts anyone?

Pretty hard to calculate at this time considering all the unknown variables (grading, ore sorting, milling, permitting, Native title etc. etc.)

But…

If the gold is there, If ore sorting works as well in the field as it does in the lab, if Novo gets full Pilbara wide Aboriginal mining clearance and the Auzzie Government allows NVO to mine Egina like a gravel pit …what will an ounce of Egina gold in the ground be worth then?

A Fuk of a lot more than $50 Canadian I'm guessing.

It appears ore sorting will (greatly) improve the value of ounces in the ground at Beaton’s Creek and Karatha too.

And it all adds up to a Fuk of a lot more than 10 M ounces I believe.

A lot has to go right for sure…but this is a junior mining stock after all…that’s what I’m betting on…and right now…things are looking pretty sweet IMO.

Looks like the market is starting to see it that way too.

Oh Fuk ya

I can calculate it. But I wont.

Fetts

But heres a clue, with those grades anything done with a sorter at any of the 3 locations would be uneconomic. That leaves BC with a mill possibly. And Bc is marginal at 2.5 gm with a 4200 tpd mill, which they dont have the use of at the moment anyway.
