Well, there may be a point to be made.
New Found Gold has an approx $561.79 M Market cap
Marathon Gold has an approx $576.49 M Market cap
Novo has an approx $477.48 M Market cap https://marathon-gold.com/site/uploads/2020/10/Marathon-Gold-Corporate-Update-November-2020.pdf According to the Marathon presentation, it needs C$272m in order to build a mill, which could take x-years to reach completion.
Therefore, to compare the market cap of Marathon and Novo, the fact that Novo will be in production in a matter of weeks and also that Marathon needs C$272m capex + years to reach production, needs to be considered for comparative purposes.
