Perambulator wrote: You must be thick if you really believe that the total number of shares listed on the TSX somehow includes those that are completely seperately issued on the  ASX which are traded and valued seperately. 
The value of the shares on each exchange added together gives the market capitalisation.
Thus is basic stuff.
