"Rosetta Stone" event (from Tx)... yes, that has been my experience how companies destined for huge price advances evolve.. in the beginning, given the risk-reward concerns, those with a acquired talent for "big picture" vision and assessment are the first ones to identify plays like Novo (QH for example and those that understood his vision). This group is small and there are many "Doubting Thomas" detractors. But then eventually, another wave of buyers step in as they too begin to see the big picture falling into place, mitigating their doubt, worry, and assessments of risk. Later as yet more ongoing positive developments unfold, safety in numbers becomes a factor and another wave of buyers become invested. Developments such as mining permits, more land acquisition, proving up resources, indications of continuity between area plays, development of necessary technology, means and methods for extracting the Gold, proof of competent management, etc... but the icing on the cake was not only accelerating the time to production buying a mill, but the buying of a company WITH A MILL and other amenities with a proven 1.1 mln oz Gold resource that had actually been in production... and then being surrounded by ore bodies Novo controls throughout the Pilbara in a position to demonstrate the ability to keep that mill running at full capacity for many decades to come. Next, you'll get the "I'll believe it when I see it" investors that will buy when Novo gets into production and they see Gold bars being poured... and it continues after that. Wave after wave for various reasons... some will need to see 1st Qtr earnings followed by improving 2nd Qtr earnings, on and on...
Bottom line, people will look back and those that bought the extreme lows will be exceedingly satisfied... those that were incapable of recognizing value in the early stages, will WISH they had bought the extreme lows that some of us were backing up the truck to buy. And then 20 years from now, some will say, hey guys, let me share my experience of buying 20, 30... 100 baggers w/ you. I've done it many times... here's the proof... this is why... etc. And few if any will listen. This was expected and is to be expected. This is what has given us time to accumulate the dips... we're riding in first class. Kick back and relax and enjoy the ride is my advise to self. I'm sure you share similar feelings... you have demonstrated that you have what it takes to see your "bases full, World Series final game for the pennant grand slam out of the stadium" come to fruition. Just a matter of time in my opinion. :)
