Sorting BB’s DD from the Doo Doo

I would like keep some things in context with the sorting and the milling.  It's proven in practice on larger scale as well.

For example:

https://www.outotec.com/products-and-services/newsletters/minerva/minerva-issue-2--2017/ore-sorting-the-road-to-optimizing-your-operation/

"Capacities for individual machines varies based on the rock type and can be up to 400 tons per hour for certain applications. By combining various machines in different particle size ranges plants have been implemented with a maximum capacity of 2000 tons per hour total plant feed."

The link mentions a current operation in work.  "The economic benefit to the operation can be very powerful and also typically reduces sensitivity to metal prices. A recently published example is Minsur’s San Rafael mine in Peru, showing a pay-back period of only 4 months after the start-up of the stockpile sorting plant."

So, I really don't see such a big issue in implementing a properly scaled solution for each of Novo's prospects, and the Nullagine mill.

I thought it was an interesting talk. Leaving gold behind goes counter to conventional thinking but makes sense at some point. So much for nvo being on the cutting edge though. And the video was done in 2017. Bloody Russians are always ahead of the game. BB

Of course leaving gold behind makes sense under certain conditions.  If it's uneconomic, it's just dirt. Look at sorting as a process.  Where it is adopted, it is touted for its positive economics.  Your web links continue to reinforce those positive aspects. So there really is no further argument.  Tin, silver, gold, diamonds, etc .  It does not ...more

Not neccessarily. If the mill is optimized at 5200 tpd and regular feed is 4200 tpd at 2.5 gm, intuition would say the extra 1000 tpd could be economic at a much lower grade.  In any event, I would never call myself lotionboy which was the point of this discussion. Butter Balls

Do I detect a softening of that butter BB ? Lets leave it to the Novo management to sort it all out now :-) In this game at this stage you either have faith in the management or you don’t. My money is firmly on them to work it out. If ever there was a time to jump back in with those 300 shares ,its now . Everthing is in place. You will be amazed where the gold price is in a few months from ...more

Still too much fat on my fingers fw, but not for long.  I know you will be skeptical, but I try to keep an open mind. I read, learn, and have absolutely no issue at all with changing my mind. Presently my position in regards to nvo is prove it. If they can then good for them and maybe i will buy.  BB

Think like a Russian, BB.   Don't get stuck in the past.  If it holds great memories, simply revisit it in the early morning hours over a quiet drink.  But don't dwell on it too long, regardless how appealing it may seem. It's gone.  Look forward. {^youtubevideo|(width)425|(height)264|(rel)False|(url)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMly5NzZ5Ek|(fs)True|(loop ...more

Well FW. ES is an accountant who likes a stacked deck game.  It's a pastime which appears To have become a full time gig after leaving his previous day job (where he made his fortune). The ES portfolio is a mish mash of mostly resource small caps that most should simply stay away from.  He rakes and harvests the comments of unanimous bloggers on public boards to spot his fish.  ...more

Which brings up the question of what is important in life. Making money is fun. Once one has made more than one and ones family can ever spend is that the most important thing in life? Or will one regret ones obsession while reflectling on ones death bed. Time lost.  I dont know, and wont have that problem I suppose. Not one. Just a turkey. I think I need a shower and a new suit.
