Reality

If nothing else, Novo brings out more craziness than any otehr stock I have followed/owned. It is like someone unlocked the loons from the farm. How about this idea, everyone check their egos at the door for now and come back next spring when production has commenced? Everyone can then rip into each other like a pack of hounds chawing on a three day old cooked turkey:) In the meantime, where the stock goes and who believes what are totally irrelevant.

We said the same things 2 springs ago. At least we are still here to talk about it.  Cheers TBN

Fab, we are going to know a whole lot more by next spring. The saving grace for so many miners is the pog is up and probably stays up for a while. You can cover a lot of mistakes at 2,500 gold. If they can pull this off, there is a lot of upside to the share price. Personally, I think B.C will be a success. Sorters? We shall see, but it could work. Egina is the wild card and in the end will really ...more

One thing is certain, not too many believed that Novo would acquire all of the assets of Millennium Minerals.  And aim at becoming a mid tier producer by 2021. For those that once adamantly stated that "Novo has no gold", I will be curious to see what that Nullagine mill produces. It may have started slow, but it sure has caught up fast. Tx

Sometimes you just have to recognize the CLUES. I trust QH's judgment, so do Sumitomo and Sprott, who both put a LOAD of money in this company. Don'twait on TA to make your investment.

And when that happens, NVO no longer becomes a speculative play.  It becomes a revenue generating business. Show you the money?  How about I show you your place on the Lassonde Curve instead. That's the game.   Tx

You have just defined the junior resource sector.   ABX was once a speculative play.  Don't you wish that you were loaded up on it back then? Tx

Regarding the comment about where one may put all is money; yes, I agree.  But there are caveats. In this type of market, would you be a fool to put the majority of your money into Novo?  Well, I will be polite and state ... again .... that I wouldn't do such a thing personally . In contrast, would you be a fool to place it all on either ABX, or WPM, NEM, KL, Newcrest, or any ...more

As you state, these guys have diverse operations all over the planet.   The only one capable of causing environmental damage on that scale is the US Miltary.  They may be into engineering open pits, but those do not require local government approvals and environmental permitting.  As well as no intention towards revenue generation. I’ve just had my third coffee with a good friend of mine so I guess Im welcome to join your discussion Lola at your convenience :-) I believe your comments relating to ‘theres risk in anything.Abx also.’are understated, especially in regards to Abx. Lola seems oblivious to or possibly forgetful of Abxs higher exposure to non US dollar swap line regions when it come to their % production coming from ...more

It's rather ironic when we look around our world and try to establish jurisdictional stability. This is what is not getting solved....   https://youtu.be/jIrXlDF7zcs   And it’s nothing to celebrate about.  It is something to fear. Tx

I remember when our manager used to say he woukd prefer NVO as an exploration company while others would do the hard job of mining...time has passed, many things have changed...different? worse? better?....who knows.
Comment by TXRogers on Nov 07, 2020 4:27pm
Yes, it is true, Fab.  And the reason was simple.   I did not want to see Novo bogged down for half a decade (or more) constructing a mill.  I know that some investors remained enthusiastic if Novo had pursued such a venture, but I was not one of those.   So, as you correctly state, I preferred a Major JV partner take on that task instead, while Novo spent its time ...more
