HEADLINE: MORIARTY SLAMS ANOTHER IDIOT

Some guy "trad" on the other board was questioning the fact that QH had mortgaged his personal residence in order to finance Novo Resources, saying it was "illogical" for a former Newmont high-level geologist to have to do so. Moriarty, a decorated Marine who has the record for the number of missions he flew over Viet Nam, let him have it in the following epic lecture on how Dart could improve his career:

Dart [apparently, Moriarty believes "trad" is really Taylor Dart, as "Dart"
spelled backwards is "trad" - personally I do not know]: You seem to think that you are so important that I must answer any question you ask about Novo. I don't think that you are important at all. I am under no pressure to respond to some guy with a chip on his shoulder and an agenda. I will say I probably know 100 times more about Novo than you do. If you have questions, go do some research of your own. Also since I was with Quinton when we went down to New Zealand and then WA in June of 2009 I am well aware of his financial status. He was dead broke even if it was the President of Evolving Gold making I think $150,000 a year at the time. He had three kids in college. I actually financed most of the expenses on the trip because he couldn't afford it. I made a lot more as a writer than he had left after paying tuition for three. He may well have borrowed money against his house. He financed Gallard (Novo) on a shoestring. You would be a lot more successful as a writer if you did your homework first and then wrote. You are now starting with a conclusion and just filling in the blanks. It's as if someone taught you that you could always piss on someone's parade and get away with it because most companies are going to fail any way. If you have nothing positive to say that will benefit someone, anyone, give it a rest until you actually develop the ability to pick up some insight into your subject. You have none now and frankly make yourself M. Crux and Dr Pimple Popper look like blithering idiots.

I believe that's in the plural:  Idiots. And speaking of idiots, one day I may post my experiences with failed white boys in South America.  The challenge will be to keep it brief. Tx

why has this spilled over to this board? could trad be short for trade or trader?

You're right.  Who cares. Tx

Don't know who "trad" is, but your theory could be correct. Either way, I am interested in Tx's comment about a failed white boy in South America - intriguing.  Ya learn a lot hanging around here.
