RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bought Today
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bought Today29+ was too hard to resist. The ETF is down 10%. May see this go down even more.
Just as a comparison NVU was around 31 I think before the deal was announced. Starlight are one of those guys who look long term. They were willing to pay $36.50 and just because the market is down - I doubt they renage on the deal. SargeX wrote: Hey MP
Fantastic work. Good on ya'.
I wish I had figured out the ETF effect a little earlier. If I do pull the trigger, I suspect it won't be anywhere near your purcahse price.
Take care

I picked up a bunch when it went under $33. SargeX wrote: Hey Charlie
I sold my 3200 shares right away at $36.48 (one of my investment rules for take-over annoucements) but have continued to follow it. It sure does seem strange to see it get hit so hard. All I can think of is that some people think the deal might not go through or that some people are in desparate need of cash to cover margin somewhere else or that the automated trading and ETF selling is causing it.
Ahh, that's it. Didn't realize it until just now. It's the ETF selling. I just checkerd ZRE as an example, and NVU is a 4.77% holding. I bet other ETFs have it as well.
I have some extra cash and I think I'll pick up 1000 shares. If it goes over $35 quite quickly, I may sell, Worst case is hold until Sept.
Thanks for tiggering my line of thought.
