I am just happy we built on Friday's gains, which I suspect was short-covering just in case on their assessment of risk/reward. i would not be surprised to see a deep-pocketed institution with deep pockets snap this upfor $10 under the former CEOs nose.

The fact that the former CEO leaved his post suggests he wanted to act in an independent manner, and thus if there is to be a large transaction, he will be part of it.  He did not just wake up one morning and left his post, while buying a block of shares. It all becomes a matter of financing a deal that is accretive to the buyer(s).

Agreed there's something very odd about the PDL actions and then simultaneous strategic review.  Buyout party must act before the tide turns with rates or sp moves back to 8.  Though they can probably purposely tank sp again with dividend cut
