RE:Zinc Prices all Time High, NZC all Time Low??

The massive dump of Norzinc stock certainly gets one's attention, yeah silver took a small hit Friday but that's not really the story of that mine.  If one could be convinced that zinc lead and silver would hold their current valuations, the property would be massively profitable even with the significant increase in the road costs due to fuel skyrocketing.

I'm not sure that zinc's current situation is relevant though.  Zinc ore isn't in short supply, it's the refining costs and capability - especially given the likely disruption in fuel deliveries from Russia in coming months. https://oilprice.com/Metals/Commodities/High-Energy-Costs-Are-Pushing-Zinc-Smelters-To-The-Brink.html
One would think that a thoughtful Canadian goverment would start to think about developing their in-country sources for raw materials like zinc, but maybe not if one has to construct a highway through a forest.

I would love to hear a discussion about the effect of fuel cost to both the road construction and eventual production/delivery costs.  I'm sure that those costs are definitely out of date at this point.
