YGR and OBEMy heart has always been with YGR lol but my brain says OBE is better. Going to give YGR 1-2 more months too see what their oily locations can do.
OBE advantage is with other plays ike Viking and Peace River...it is only drilling 12-15 willy green wells instead of needing to do 25-30 per year in Willy. Just my opinion but I think OBE would start to hit more 15000barrels of oil in six month type wells if it expanded the drilling program too hard...isnt good enough payback wise.
I need to expand beyond the cardium, good to know comparables. The nice thing about the cardium is i have looked at it look enough to know when it is starting to slide.
I think IPO 90 on oil barrels of new cardium wells is falling each year for all operators that drill over 10 wells.
It seems to be extremely hard to get even 30k barrels of oil by month 6. Even 200 barrels of day of oil is hard to get on new wells and seems like a miracle.
I am good more bearish on cardium.
Spending time on Baytex and Headwater to get familar.
