Too Cheap to Pass on

Added some OBE today, its trading way too cheap, and I think its getting ready for a big move over the next six months.

BMO has it one of the cheapest names on Market Cap to Free cash flow for '22.

As soon as the surplus shares issued find a long term home, this will be a rocket. Could not believe you could buy as much as you wanted under $4.40, the oversubscribed issue price.

I agree, it was pretty crazy seeing the market depth earlier and all the shares under 4.40. Was nice to see Altacorp on buy side today. They started at in low 4.40's. Never really seen Altacorp on buy side with OBE. The push to 5 bucks plus  will be on as soon as loose shares are gone.

Any chance you're able to share/link to the BMO list?

You'd have to look up Eric Nuttall's Twitter feed, he has the whole list.   I agree with most of BMO's analysis, but they definitely overestimate the cash flow from Bonterra and underestimate the cash flow from Athabasca The other names all seem about right based on what I calculate.

I agree...i see crude oil futures drop to about $72 a barrel...In essence, i'm waiting to pickup OBE in the low $4's

still not adding .... I'll be all in if I use the rest of my ammo. I'd rather be wrong (and have portfolio up) missed a bit of buying than be all in just yet. Still have to hold some money for tfsa 2022. So I don't have to sell and get taxed to fill it.

Yeah man lol...I didnt even look at my overall port value yesterday. Making money in the stock market is never easy but it is rewarding. I actually would rather be buying on the way up.  When my margin retriggers overnight maybe I can get some more obe tommorrow. Fundamentals for OBE are so stellar though. Found that falher gas well. I cant tell how many hours it ran for October. I don ...more

It should be an interesting day. Biden is supposed to announce a 30M SPR release. Basically the amount of crude that gulf shut in September from hurricane were offline. Very silly...if USA wants cheaper energy prices they need a over 80 WTI band to stimulate drilling. Lower oil prices is actually worse lol.  Eventually over time higher oil would have lead to increased USA oil production ...more
