Bloodbath…anyone adding?

Big drops this morning. Take Nuttall with a grain of salt but these companies are still quite profitable at $70 WTI.

I got 6k $ of OBE at 4.4 and 6k of JOY 1.55. We will see oil burning for electricity this winter, opec pull back, nat gas soar and CAD at 1.3+ .... yup I'm bull!

I actually bought 2700 at $4.35. I was lucky enough to have some proceeds from TAL which was up today. Usually I would just be stuck watching as I am fully invested and I don't like to borrow to buy shares.

Many of those quants with oil derivatives built into their algorithm may of gone through stop loss triggers today.   Some fortunes may of been made and lost today  Expect the Chinese, Indians, Japanese etc to buy all they can get at these prices

Right on. It's bounced back a bit while I was trying to free up $$...I'd have liked to buy a chunk around $4.40 also.

Journey Energy is a good value play. Usually quite illquid and doesnt trade much but today it has volume. But Joy's exploration potential isnt remotely close to OBE's. I think all of us OBE'shareholders will be pleasantly suprised at the future drilling results. Even at a 65-70 WTI band...we are still going to be rolling in 70M plus a Q ffo as our light oil content is going to rise

I got to work! Sold all the recent joy purchases. $1.71 and got $14k OBE at 4.38 ... a gift! And added the rest to IPO $13.5k at 1.8 ... now I have to sell last weeks buy at 1.98 as soon as we get par or more. Let's just see if JOY runs away. I still have alot but at 1.3 so I'm OK with it. And Kavern I sold OBE a while back and you called me out lmao iceberg seller. But I was 100% OBE then

He's not on Market Call, but I think they're having him on to talk about the 'oil and gas outlook' today...I mentioned him b/c he's always trumpeting how the oilcos in Canada are still massively undervalued at $70 WTI. He was pumping Cenovus and Enerplus last time he was on Market Call...one caller asked about OBE and he cited debt and the PROP deal as to why he was staying
