So this US company called Riverbend is selling its oil assets for $2 billion usd plus debt. It produces 28,000 bod with land in north dakota and ohio. What's interesting is that OBE is at 33,000 bod and has some of the best assets in North America in cardium and now in clearwater PROP. A $2 billion values us at $25usd. I would take that now!!! Maybe this is Loukas's plan for later this year.

Next year Canadian companies are going to flush with cash.  IMO OBE will eventaully get a $15 price either trading or being bought out.  There is also a path to being debt free/low debt if they sold Viking or a piece of Cardium.  Very short sighted trading going on at the moment.

I agree except for the price part. At $15 usd, OBE is at a $1.2B mkt cap. OBE is worth much more than that, especially now owning its PROP assets 100%. Clearwater is the talk of the town in the canadian oil industry. Riverbend is offering its assets for $2B usd for 28,000 bod and its land is probably not as profitable.
