RE:RE:RE:NetworkNewsBreaks – Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSX: OGI) (NAS
Even if OGI is the source of the outbreak, they have no legal concerns. First off, NB government is protecting them, refusing to disclose source of outbreak. Second, it's a wise move on OGI's part not to admit liability; if there's no admission, then there's no case. Third, regardless of who is responsible, this is a provincial matter, and there are zero regulations in place regarding cooling tower maintenance and testing, i.e., meaning: no laws were broken. Fourth, the cooling towers did not process interior air, i.e., grow not affected. Fifth, from a legal perspective, even if OGI were to admit responsiblity, financial damages would be extremely minimal ... several people got sick, no permanent damage, no deaths. Finally, the problem has been resolved, according to NB government. If anyone thinks they can successfully take on a corporation that has the backing of govenrment, well, you're delusional. This is a non-issue that made for an eyeball pleasing story reported by the Canadian Bullsh __ Corporation. Upside to the story: excellent entry point for shareholders.
