Shoppers Boost

Shoppers BoostI expect a healthy boost to bottom line now that Shoppers is carrying Edison edibles for medical clientele. To fully understand how the Shoppers Drug Market customer experience works, I registered as a patient last week. Process is simple and efficient. To qaulify,  I said my 'condition' was anxiety and insomnia. Prior to chatting online with a nurse, I spoke with the tech guy (ie., standard procedure to make sure Zoom call is working fine), who said that they have been swamped with new medical customers since January. I'm thinking that Shoppers is seen as a trusted source by the public, so their selling cannabis increasingly legitimizes the industry, which bodes well for more 'users' and industry growth.

Haven't yet made my first order as Edison is showing to be 'Coming Soon' on their website. Order is placed online with delivery by Canada Post. My guess is that once Shoppers is up and running for a period of time, they will be able to guage specific store area demand, and allow for customer pickup as well.

Link to Shoppers Edibles page in BC, showing only Foray chocolate and Edison coming soon: https://cannabis.shoppersdrugmart.ca/en_CA/products/productcategory=medical-cannabis&forms=ediblesSolidDiscrete&sortoption=leastexpensive

fyi, medical patients can claim a tax credit for cannabis purchases, thus my motivation to register :)
