TAX Reform? OGI wins!

Tax Reforms are in the works for Canadian Cannabis LP's. They may not be as laid out or exactly as recommended by the Standing Committee but they are bound to change if the Canadian Mj industry is going to survive.

https://stockhouse.com/news/press-releases/2024/02/28/organigram-applauds-the-standing-committee-on-finance-s-recommendation-on-excise

Canada's 2024 Budget is set to be announced on April 16, 2024.

OGI, VFF and XLY are set to benefit greatly from any reforms to Canadian Excise Tax as the majority of their sales are in the Canadian Retail market. Medical Mj already sees a lesser level of taxation than Retail Mj in Canada so Companies like WEED and ACB that have transitioned to mostly Medical Sales will benefit to a lesser degree.

TLRY is the top seller of Retail Mj in Canada and would benefit greatly from Excise Tax Relief as well.

Will we see the Excise Tax on Cannabis change in Canada before rescheduling of Mj by the DEA in the USA.?

Both happening would be bloody brilliant!!

Time will tell.

cheers
