I would see it more as a quick swoosh down for basically everything, followed by a quick rebound for gold miners (esp. the ones that are gnerating cash flow form producing mies - or the near producers i.e. those that will do so in the next few years - ala Orezone)

It may look like a decoupling when you look back, but it doesn't mean there won't be some bargains to be had if you're nimble, and can take advantage.

But I confess, it's very hard to sell Orezone here...even knowing what's coming for the general markets.  Mainly because we know what's coming shortly for Orezone.
