Example..total market BS.
Someone on WEF bullboard page questioned me on why Norbord drops $6 over a couple days after reporting record earnings and doubling the dividend to 60 cents from 30 which represents a 5% return on a $48 share price. I referred them to my previous post here on Norbord BB. Which brings me to this....Linamar Corp symbol LNR posted solid earnings this morning and doubled their dividend to 24 cents from 12. The shares rose over $8 to a high of $56.77..like 17%. 24 cent dividend is less than 2% return on yesterdays close price of $48.43 and even less to all the suckers buying LNR in the mid 50's today. This is an example of how BS the market can be. Something is totally wrong here. Why would Joe Q Investor put dollars into LNR today for a 1.7% dividend when you could buy OSB at $42 and get 5.75%. Total market BS...but hey what do l know. GLTA.
