Jeff Currie: No Capital Influx Into Commodity Supercycle Yet

This applies to gold miners also.

Goldman Sacks Jeff Currie head of global commodities research says it is just the beginnings of the commodity supercycle due to a decade of under investment that resulted from misallocation of capital (think of money printing here).

A short interview well worth the listen.  Currie is someone to pay attention to.

LI industry investors are still angry over the faulty analysis of GS with regard excess supply of LI relative to demand. GS said China had an abundance of a mineral which when processed gave useable LI. In fact the mineral processing cost made the LI product markedly higher that natural rock deposits and in the meantime GS drove LI producers far lower. Hope this Currie guy is far more accurate.
