RE: RE: Why are these clowns marketing in the US.GE is a big market locomotives player but now days with AC positive traction motor control it can be used as a switcher much like an old GP SD , genset or Goat.GE has sold from the 40s all the U ..B..and C series engines .,to get where they are today.If you want a company GECOimagination gevo series with great customer service and a proven name westinghouse GE is where to go,as well as EMD 2nd now in the world..Progressive Rail needs to market where the big players are oversees they are to far down the line in the canadian US market to be competetive or save there sorry butt .They should have factored this in 10 years ago when they were out in new westminster B.C and were working the Green Goat idea.The new GEVO CML50001 locomotiive from GE can do just as much and more than any goat will do,and with a 6 hour down time in the shop they can adjust the HP rating.The 300 CML order from china last year is pretty impressive from a country that is in an economical downward spiral.All locomotives will be manufactured at the Erie PA plant.Progressive rail could have marketed austrailia and new zealand after the the bejing olympics but neither P or the teachers union could figure this out last year ? Maybe they just want to sit and wait for another crane order .Ill be dead and gone before progressive rail works its way to be a big time player and im 39 years old.Get rid of the mangement and call Paul Tellier over from the Bomb.He was very sucessful with CN .GLTA fellow bagholders
